Friday, February 13, 2009 at 11:04AM That's right - I have lost TWO POUNDS! RAH RAH!

We're having a "Biggest Winner" competition at work, so I joined and got weighed in last week - totally depressed about that number. I didn't do much this week to work on it, but with the move, I wasn't sitting around snacking and I was up and about lifting things and moving around more than usual. So, it really was the old "eat less, move more" plan. Now the real work begins. The hubby and I are pretty much settled into our kitchen so it's time to start planning meals, including what to take to work for lunch and snacks, etc. It's also time to hook up the Wii Fit and see how that goes.
This weekend isn't the weekend for being super strict, though, since we're going out for Valentine's Day tomorrow and I'm making the hubby a super yummy dinner and dessert tonight. More details on that to follow! Will hopefully be posting: photos of successful dinner and dessert creations. Will hopefully not be posting: photos involving flames or any type of charring.

Saw your blog! I love it! I'm going to be reading it all the time. And I love DOOCE too - I've been reading her for about 8 years now - I guess right after she eloped.

Awww, you are the BEST! I miss you, too! I was a latecomer to Dooce (just last year) but I want to be her when I grow up.
