Things I Can't Pull Off

Well, I'm not so sure anyone could - or should - pull this off:

I mean, really - what is that about?  Why would I want to wear a wood bow-tie as a necklace?  I adore Etsy and even love looking at things that aren't my style, but this is just... Hm.  I can just see the look on my mother's face if I showed up with that on.  I can then see myself heading to the cooler for the first beer of several so as to be able to tolerate the comments for the rest of the day.

Now, this on the other hand, I also could not pull off but so desperately wish I could:

I would feel like a wood nymph who dances about, decorating herself with the blooms of the forest.

Um, except I'm not a waif, look weird when I dance about, and would be hard-pressed to find a local forest containing blooms.  Oh, and headbands never fail to give me a headache.  Alas.
