I'm in love!
Friday, October 2, 2009 at 8:01PM As you may have noticed, things have changed a little around here! The super lovely Katie Lane of Lemon Cherry Blogs was kind enough to create and install this site design for me.
Katie and I have been emailing back and forth for two weeks or so as she made sure the banner was really what I wanted it to be. And, really, it was nearly perfect in the first draft - there were only a few tweaks. She uploaded the rest of the elements (the post divider, post signature, grab button, etc) last night as I was sitting in the Denver hotel restaurant, staring off into a roaring fire and trying to read for school. Well, I actually squealed out loud when I opened the site because I was just so happy with it. But who cares - I wasn't ever going to see those people again and my boss wasn't anywhere around.
Katie was a pure joy to work with - she's so sunny and upbeat and just really great. I really wish she lived nearby because I'd take her out for drinks or coffee!
And now, back to our regular - but just better looking - blogging!
